Nestled amongst the Tuscan hills, close to the enchanting city of Lucca, lies the Villa Benvenuti Estate, with a lovingly restored seventeenth century villa at its heart. Time moves a lot slower here; an afternoon can easily be lost drifting through the olive groves or snoozing by the pool. An easy fifteen minute drive or lazy cycle to the town of Lucca will reward you with a wander around its medieval walls, followed by a delicious dinner in one of its many beautiful squares. The Tuscan climate encourages a more relaxed pace to life, allowing you to appreciate the sensory delights it has to offer.
The villa is a beautiful and impressive home, coupled with the working estate for a truly unique rental experience. Guests are welcome to enjoy the organic perks of a Tuscan lifestyle, including pressing grapes, picking olives and digging up dinner from the vegetable garden. With extensive grounds and tranquil gardens Villa Nutti is the ideal venue for family holidays, weddings, retreats or large groups of friends looking for a more refined escape. The convenient location also allows for easy travel to some of Italy’s most picturesque historic towns including Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Pistoia and the villages of the Cinque Terre.Today the villa has been fully restored in a light and elegant fashion, and can host groups of fourteen people, there are seven flexible double or twin bedrooms. For larger groups an additional cottage is also available as a separate rental, and can sleep four people in two double or twin bedrooms.
The kitchen is of traditional design with two ovens, grill, dishwasher, stereo and I-Pod cradle. The central table seats eighteen people comfortably for indoor meals.There is an elegant dining room which seats fourteen and a summer sitting room with large glass doors opening onto the lawn and fountain.On the ground floor there is one double bedroom with en suite bathroom.
Upstairs on the first floor there is a large hall which is painted a dramatic Pompeian red, this hall can be used as a dining room for up to fifty people.There is also a drawing room which is a sophisticated and relaxing space with fireplace,a balcony overlooking the garden and grounds,and an additional terrace for pre dinner aperitivi. The master bedroom which is en suite and the chapel bedroom both with double beds are also on this floor. On the second floor there are four bedrooms which can all be doubles or twins,tucked under the roof of the house with exposed chestnut ceiling. Two bedrooms overlook the gardens and olive groves to the front of the house, whilst the two at the rear, overlook the gardens and dolphin fountain.
Located between each of the two front and rear bedrooms there are two bathrooms both have separate bath tubs and walk in showers.There is also a yoga room for sixteen people.
To reduce the stress of travelling we offer an optional concierge and food shopping service, with a traditional Italian supper on your first evening. Upon arrival guests are greeted with our welcome pack, containing Estate wine and olive oil. Also included are fresh seasonal vegetables from the garden, all linen, cleaning six mornings a week and wifi. Upon request we can easily arrange for cooks, babysitting, drivers, fishing, horse riding, bike hire, personal trainers, yoga teachers and masseurs.
