Located in rolling hills it overlooks Tuscany’s largest and most exciting seaside resort, Viareggio, the evocative Lake Massaciuccoli and the picturesque town of Massarosa, Villa Chiesa is perfect as a base to explore the many attractions for which Tuscany is famous. The house is ideally located only a fifteen minute drive to the seashore in Viareggio or Forte dei Marmi.
The villa is a three-story stone farmhouse featuring three beautiful master bedroom suites, located on the first and second floors. All three suites are beautifully appointed, furnished with antiques from the local area, and each suite has its own private terrazzo with views of the Mediterranean Sea, Lake Massaciuccoli and the surrounding countryside. In the distance, you can see the Leaning Tower of Pisa and, on clear days, the islands of Corsica, Elba, Gorgona and Capraia. The ground floor contains the living room and dining area, bathroom, cantina, as well as a very large, fully-equipped semi-professional kitchen.
The property is made up of a main villa, one bedroom cottage and can accommodate up to eight guests. two extra guests can be accommodated in pull out beds.
The medieval walled city of Lucca is twenty minutes away, the Carrara quarries located in the dramatic Apuan Alps, is a twenty five minute drive. Pisa is thirty minutes from the house. It is an hour’s drive to Florence.
