
On the ground floor level there is one double bedroom with bathroom, the dining room which seats twenty four people with a fireplace,the green sitting room,a large library with huge fireplace and tv, and a very large porch overlooking the sea furnished with dining table, sofa, chairs and armchairs. There is also a large kitchen with fireplace, laundry room, computer room.
On the first floor there are four double bedrooms each one with their own bathroom,and the very large master bedroom with four windows and en suite bathroom with two basins, dressing room and a children’s bedroom which can sleep two children .
On the second floor in the small tower there is a bedroom with two beds and with its own bathroom.
The house has central heating, air conditioning on the first floor, a safe, a computer, wireless internet, satellite tv and dvd.The house is usually rented with it’s own trained staff.
The pool at the end of the garden has a lovely view on the sea and the woods. A comfortable cabin is used as changing room with fridge, sunbeds, sun umbrellas, and a dining table for twelve.
Besides swimming at the pool, guests can go to the beach, a 15-minute drive through the family’s private woods down to the sea, where they will find at their disposal a cabin to change, sunbeds, warm and cold shower and fridge, to be shared with the other guests who are allowed into this private area.
Donoratico village,which is three kilometers away, has a railway station, a post office, many supermarkets and specialized delicatessen food shops,hairdressers,a florist, a pharmacy and many different kinds of stores,and a doctors office The nearest hospital is in Cecina, a small town 15 kms north.About 15 minutes away, on the beach,is the Tombolo Resort, a spa with talassotherapy. Golf courses are 30 to 50 minutes driving distance.
The Island of Elba can easily be reached by ferry or by hydrofoil from Piombino harbour which is 30 minutes away.Boats can be hired in the nearby harbours of San Vincenzo or Baratti to go visit the nearest islands.
