Nestled in three acres of mature grounds, this house brims with genuine personality and charm. It is the ideal venue for a large gathering of family and friends, providing ample indoor and outdoor space for entertainment and relaxation. The ground floor consists of a large open plan kitchen and snug, with adjoining dining room that opens onto the generous terrace. A cosy library and two further large receptions are wonderful spaces for fireside socialising, or just putting your feet up. There is also a sunny yoga or reading room with doors opening up to the terrace.
The first floor comprises of three large double bedrooms one is en-suite, and a second bathroom and separate WC.
Up in the eaves are three further bedrooms, one double and one dorm style bedroom with three single beds, a twin room and another bathroom. There are no stand up showers on the property, but each bath has a shower attachment.
When the sun shines, while away the day reading a book and grazing on a home made picnic in a multitude of locations, perhaps out in the orchard in the shade of an apple tree. Tucked in to the rose garden with the buzz of merry bees, or under the willow tree out by the pond. As night falls, perhaps light the fire pit to roast a lamb shoulder, and feast out by candlelight under the stars, watched over by the full size African elephant.
For the more active guests, the property is surrounded by farmland and public footpaths for walking, running or gentle rambling and foraging and you can walk along the canal to Chichester. The swimming pool is open over the Summer months and is a wonderful way to cool down, or to energise, and the tennis court although a little rustic, is fully functioning and looking forward to you having a game on it.
The house and it’s gardens have provided much joy over the years, and many happy memories have been made.
