
On the ground floor of the main house there is an entrance hall with cloakroom, a sitting room with fireplace, library area and media center with double doors leading to covered terrace area, a dining room with seating for twelve opening onto the covered terrace with dining for twenty people and an outside seating area, A corridor leads to three double bedrooms with solid oak flooring and generous built in cupboards each with en-suite shower rooms and double doors opening on to the garden.
A further three double bedrooms with built in cupboards and en-suite shower rooms open directly on to the inner courtyard. There is also an office. All these bedrooms have solid oak flooring.
A tiled staircase leads you up to the first floor study with a domed ceiling complete with mural. There is a working fireplace, air conditioning and the study is fully equipped for home office use.
A corridor leads you to a large master bedroom suite which has air conditioning and a fireplace. Picture windows offer wonderful panoramic views overlooking Jimena del la Frontera and the surrounding countryside. Beyond the bedroom is a dressing room with spacious wardrobes. The flooring throughout is limestone. The bathroom has a bespoke mosaic floor with bath,a separate shower, bidet, and two hand basins. There is air conditioning and under floor heating. A door leads onto a private terrace with steps leading to the garden.
In the basement there is a family room with mural along the length of one wall, a projector and a gym area.
The pool is salt water and is heated. There is a fridge and WC in the pool house and numerous sun loungers surrounding the pool.
The garden has many varieties of trees including mature olive trees, cyprus, jacaranda, ginkgo, orange, lemon, australian oak, and mimosa. The Zen garden is the most formal part of the garden designed to feature the four elements using biblical plants, flowing water and Cordoba stone. Fig, orange, pomegranate trees are to be found here as well as roses. There is a large covered seating area, which is ideal for yoga or just relaxing.
La Sierra is situated in the countryside overlooking panoramic views towards Morocco, Alcornocales National Park and orange groves. It is about ten kilometers from Gaugin,a traditional white washed ‘pueblo’ with charming village atmosphere, traditional shops and numerous restaurants and ventas.Ronda is thirty minutes away and is a famous for Roman remains and bullfighting.
Soto Grande with its marina, deep sea fishing, polo fields and night life and world famous golf courses is a forty minute drive away. Polo matches – the high goal season peaks with the Gold Cup mid August and there is great atmosphere in the evenings and late afternoons fun for all ages
