Together, they offer five, superbly appointed bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The sixth bedroom, with king-size bed offers an adjacent bathroom. Each bedroom is finished to an impeccable standard and equipped with air conditioning and a Bose® stereo system. The three locations assure the utmost privacy for guests for whom the luxury of an historical and charming colonial style home appeals.
Each wing is connected through winding paths of beautiful, tropical vegetation leading to pretty courtyards and numerous comfortable lounging areas. Everywhere you turn, there is another beautiful vista ahead of you. The unique, enchanting swimming pool, carved out of the coral ridge to create a private lagoon has featured in many prestigious publications. Messel Plantation boasts the services of probably the best chef on the island. The Estate has a permanent staff of 12, including the Estate Manager and Butler who admirably cater to their guest’s every requirement ranging from organising activities on the island to preparing outstanding dining occasions for the most delightful social gatherings.
The property’s location on a coral ridge ensures that the property benefits from the cooling presence of the trade winds. The beauty of Fustic House is that you can enjoy the privacy of your own private retreat, complete with its own lagoon swimming pool, yet the beach is within 5 minutes by foot or by car should you choose to go there. Private transfers from Barbados to Messel Plantation are arranged to and from the airport.
