
Originally a royal hunting lodge,The Park Estate is the family home of an english aristocratic family.It is situated in Oxfordshire just sixty five miles from London. The estate includes some seventeen hundred acres of the most ancient forest in Britain today and is a protected environment for native wildlife, creating a unique habitat in one of the few private forests in England.
Accommodation at the house consists of seven large en suite bedrooms and six additional bedrooms with three bathrooms.
The reception rooms consist of a cosy library and smaller sitting room for smaller groups and large drawing rooms with high ceilings and expansive views for larger groups and for entertaining. The two reception halls can accommodate up to one hundred guests for a standing reception.There are many working fireplaces for use in winter months and the house is fully central heated.
The large and fully equipped kitchen and pantry provide ample space for staff to cook and prepare for houseguests.
Many sporting activities are possible here including fishing, stalking, tennis, swimming and long walks in the extensive parklands.
The main house is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies, and the lawns and terraces provide a stunning location for photographs and summer drinks receptions. The parkland marquee site is a beautiful setting for a memorable wedding breakfast and evening party.
