With so many islands to chose from The Balearic Islands offer something for everyone. Set in the Mediterranean sea these islands have seen many changes over the years and while some parts of Mallorca and Ibiza are known for “mass tourism” its very easy to visit both islands and stay away from the crowds.
If you pick Mallorca you can hike and bike to your hearts content and enjoy a more cosmopolitan evening lifestyle in Palma or Pollenca. Menorca is more natural and will please those of us who like unspoiled landscapes and beaches. Ibiza is glamorous yet secretive, she always has something new up her sleeve to share with you and Formentera is the true place to escape and switch off – at least for now.
This group of islands is a perfect place to island hop, stay a week in a lovely house in Ibiza then take a boat to Formentera or sail to Mallorca or Menorca for a few days, the choice is yours.
